In this milestone year of 2020, Business and Pleasure is excited to be launching throughout Europe!
Opening doors with some of the best big name and boutique retailers from Norway to Italy, setting up EU based warehousing and a dedicated sales team out of Biarritz, France was all a result of allot of hard work, but - Setting up business in Europe certainly comes with it's perks too! So last summer the B&PCo founders took off to Europe to get down to business (pleasure!)!
First stop; And before i go toParis, an epicentre of so much in Europe and the world. We’re inspired by the Parisian vibe, the art, architecture and decor of the city. Strolling the canals feels like a Monet painting from the 1800's you just want to get lost in the history and stories that have been. The city is indulgent, sexy, iconic and holds so many other qualities we admire. We Love Love Paris.
‘A hotel where guests and locals cross paths to share coffee and cocktails around the clock’.
The hotel restaurant offers French styled dishes and Jacques’ Bar is a cozy place for cocktails in those late hours.
The hotel itself is made up of 172 rooms in 4 stories around 2 beautiful courtyards. The building is an old mansion built for an advisor to the king in the 18th century.
The picturesque courtyards and spiralling staircases put off a historic atmosphere styled with a modern touch to make for a cool stay and hype zone for young entrepreneurs to mingle.. Located on the Rue de Sentier, put us in a rad central part of the city.
Between work we spent time sipping wine at the quaint French bistros and soaking up as many Parisan pleasures as possible.
Other then the obvious afternoon stroll to The Lourve or any of the many amazing museums, picnics under the Effile Tower and spending time in the chic boutiques here some of our fav must do’s from our trip.
-La Cave wine bar
. Paris has wine running through it’s veins and if you’re like us and love natural and biodynamic wines, you’re in luck cause Paris is the place! This one is found in Sentier, a cool collection of coblestone streets where you can find a real taste of the cities bacchanalia!
-Girafe Paris. Hands down thee best spot to enjoy the Eiffel Tower as it sparkles over Paris. Book a table outside, don't hold back and drink lots of cocktails!
-The Bar Hemingway Ritz Paris. A special little spot tucked away at the iconic Ritz Paris. What an exclusive and nostalgic spot to enjoy the best mix of drinks you could imagine. A fancy late night spot to cuddle up in a worn leather chair and enjoy your companions.
-Ralph Lauren Flagship located on legendary boulevard St. Germain. Enjoy a long lunch in the courtyard sipping aperóls while absorbing a bit of Inspo from the navy and white Kings palace.
-Paris Flea Market.
Spend a morning after your espresso getting lost at the flea market, so many stories to be told in the treasures you’ll find.
-Le Crazy Horse Paris
. Probably our favorite night spent in this glamorous city. This Parisian cabernet knocked us off our velvet seats, or it could have been the bottles of Champagne they kept delivering.
Either way the sultry skill of these perfect female dancers ‘turned us on’, as they say and we can’t wait to go back!
Au revoir Paris
Next stop, Mallorca! Located in the Mediterranean Mallorca is the largest island of the Balearic Islands, part of Spain.
Belmond La Residencia. This place is out of control! A place of luxury, complete relaxation and rustic beauty located between the
Tramuntana Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. We can not say enough about the fives star experience we enjoyed at this gorgeous stay. The tranquil village of Deià is definitely worth a visit, located on the western part of the island its set up for the best sunset dinners along one of the cliffs or a swim in the turquoise waters. A heavenly spot to recap on some business from our Paris show but mostly a place to soak up Mallorca's lush pleasures.
-Sa Fonda- Deiá's spot to dance the night away! A high spirited little bar that stays open until the early hours of morning for you to sip on drinks, throw darts or boogy on the terrace if you like.
-Vespa ride to Port de Sóller- our favorite day was spent zooming around on vespa's along the coastline around the Island. We brought our essential B&P day set up and off we went exploring, drinking wine, eating the best food and soaking up the island.
-Neni Mallorca is a roof top terrace lcoated at Bikini Island & Mountain Hotel in Port De Sóller. Casual dining best enjoyed as share plates while looking out at the breathtaking views of the Bay and Mountains.
-Llucmajor. We discovered the town of Llucmajor our last day in Mallorca it's located southeast of Palma ariport. If you feel like venturing one day to a more local part of the island, pack a picnic, your B&P day set up and lots of wine to enjoy the day laying along the Mediterranean sea.
